Winter Series Regatta 1 Results
The 2007 Winter Series got off to a flying start this last Sunday when 9 members met at the usual venue at Ta 'Xbiex to compete in the first Regatta of the series.
The light winds continued throughout the morning providing quite slow racing conditions. One of our relative newcomers, Nic Mifsud (boat no 33) who is not only new to One Metre racing but also new to the art of sailing, found the light winds difficult, however he enjoyed the days racing nevertheless.
Matthew (boat no 38) and Vinnie (boat no 30) had consistant placings and ended up as commendable first and second positions on the day.
