Winter Series Regatta 4 Results

St Julians' Bay was the the venue for the fourth Regatta of the Winter Series. A couple of additional buoys were added to those already sited in the bay to provide a standard Olympic course.

Several of the skippers were obviously destracted by Carnival as the turn out for this Regatta was down to only 6 skippers, however strong Force 4 winds throughout the morning made for some very fast sailing, and No 2 rigs were used by all.

During the last three races Vinnie (boat no 30) and Alan (boat no 07) decided to give their No 1rigs a blow........... which resulted in Alan winning the last three races and Vinnie practicing his submarine techniques!!

Congratulations must go to Albert (boat no 11), who managed to master the conditions, and produced a resounding win for the day with six firsts, three seconds and a third. Matthew (boat no 38) was second and Christian (boat no 21) came a close third.

Once again very many thanks to all the willing volenteers who helped to set up for the event - your help is much appreciated.
