Winter Series Regatta 2 Results
A delay of nearly two hours, due to an unscheduled fishing competion, did not deter the ardent group of 7 sailors who met at the usual venue at Ta 'Xbiex to compete in the second Regatta of the series.
The brisk, if at times, variable winds continued throughout the morning providing some excellant sailing conditions. Alan, whose normal boat is undergoing some repairs, encountered problems with his alternative boat and was only able to compete in a few races - hope your boat is fixed for the next regatta Alan.
Matthew (boat no 38) romped ahead to take first position of the day whilst Vinnie (boat no 30i) and Albert (boat no 11) took second and third positions. Must mention of Christian who was piped into fourth place by only one point - keep it up Christian.
