Winter Series Regatta 3 Results
The forecast of strong NE winds over the week end had determined that the venue for the third regatta of the Winter series would be Valletta Waterfront. As it turned out the strong winds did not materialise however Valletta Waterfront is a venue much favoured by many of our skippers so dispite lack of wind a good mornings sailing was enjoyed by all.
Today was the first time out for Alan with his new boat (no 30 - recently purchased from Vinnie) so we were all pleased to see Alan acheive a commendable second position of the day - only one point behind Matt, who true to form took first place for the day. It was also first time out for Robert with his new boat (no 07 - recently purchased from Alan) and Robert came a very good third for the day.
Vinnie, who is awaiting arrival of his new boat and was not able to compete, enjoyed the opportunity to perform the duties of the Officer of the Day.
