Winter Series Regatta 4 Results
For this regatta we returned to our old favorite location of Ta 'Xbiex.
Today we welcomed a new sailor to the One Metre boat class, Jarrard Strickland (boat no 15) who, with his new locally manufactured boat was competing for the first time. Jarrard was given the advantage of a 30 second start and throughout the races held his own very well - even taking a third position in the first race ! Maybe that was beginners luck !
Fairly light and fluky winds produced very close positioning for the day scores with Albert (boat no 11) taking first position only 2 points in front of Alan (boat no 30) who in turn was only two points in front of Matthew (boat no 38) for third position.
